 NABUUR.com lets people volunteer online, for projects in developing countries, run by local communities. The NABUUR website itself is also maintained by volunteers, and we coordinate that work here.

Help make it happen!

 NABUUR.com is the currently running site.  nabuurcamp.org is intended to turn into nabuur.org, the next version of the website:

  • a rebranding from NABUUR.com to nabuur.org
  • a new layout and a newly designed user experience
  • upgrading from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6.

Find the area in which you want to become active:

Write updates, blog posts, help texts and explanations, or help with translations. Support our users to work with NABUUR. Interact with our fans. Help people find their way. Keep things running by monitoring performance ( Munin stats), kicking spammers out, checking traffic.

Help design Design the best user experience by looking at the InterfacePages, GeneralRequirements, and UserStories Help develop Build new NabuurPages. Implement features, views, panels and modules to make the site do what the users want. Help theming the site Create CSS and theming to make everything look good. Develop graphics.

  • The roadmap shows our general plan when tickets should be be done in a particular iteration
  • The changelog shows what has happened so far.
  • View tickets so see various reports about the work to be done.
  • Make a new ticket if there isn't one already for an problem, issue, requested feature already.
